Gorakhpur: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped, gang-raped and later sold to a spa centre in Gorakhpur. Police rescued her nearly three weeks after she went missing, and took four accused into custody on Saturday evening.According to police, the minor had been in contact with a minor boy from Shahpur for six months. On January 1, he lured her to a hotel in the GIDA area. For three days, he allegedly raped her before abandoning her. Left alone, hotel owner Abhai Singh and manager Adarsh Pandey exploited her and sexually assaulted her. The survivor later told police that when she fell ill, she was given medicines and then forced again.The hotel staff then allegedly sold her to Ankit, manager of a spa in Bardahlaganj. There, too, she was raped. When her condition worsened, she was shifted to another hotel in Nausad, where police eventually traced her location on Jan 22 and rescued her. The girl’s mother approached senior officials. Acting swiftly, police arrested Singh, Pandey, and Ankit. Later that night, the boyfriend was also detained for questioning.SP City Abhinav Tyagi confirmed the arrests and said further legal action is underway.
